UPCOMING EVENTS AT THE CENTRE
Thursday Food Hub
Our Thursday food hub, supported by the Felix Trust and Lambeth Health Living Platform, offers extra help to local organizations and families whose children participate in our After School activities. This support is aimed at elderly grandparents who are taking care of their grandchildren alone, as well as other isolated families living near the Angell Town estate.
Tuesday Coding Classes
We offer coding classes for kids aged 7-11, thanks to our partnership with Millennium Community Solutions. Our unique approach uses fun games to teach coding, and each program lasts for 10 weeks. We have small class sizes, with 10 students per class, and provide a fully equipped and nurturing environment.
Saturday School learning and development sessions
At our Saturday sessions, we offer a one-of-a-kind learning experience. We cover Maths, English, Science, and geography to help students understand and solve problems, grasp mathematical formulas, and learn about maps and the environment. Additionally, we have a Chess Club where teachers and students play competitively to boost confidence and enjoyment.
Supporting local groups
Our work relies on help from local families and community groups. We hold meetings to discuss local problems and speak up for the community to the government, developers, councillors, and the MP. We aim to make changes that will benefit families and improve the community.
