Music

Music is the foundation of Brixton Wings. From Monday to Thursday, we run daily piano and keyboard sessions that cater to a range of learners, from beginners finding their feet to GCSE students working towards their qualifications and participants preparing for ABRSM grading examinations. On Fridays, we shift to guitar lessons and a band workshop, giving young people the experience of playing together and developing as musicians. Whether the goal is personal enjoyment, formal accreditation, or simply the joy of playing, our music programme offers a clear and supported pathway for every participant.

Strength & Conditioning

Brixton Wings provides weekly strength and conditioning sessions for 11–18-year-olds to boost health and confidence. Coach-led classes improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and wellbeing through fun group workouts, fostering teamwork and resilience.

Coding

Every Tuesday at the Brixton Wings Hub, we run coding sessions where participants build games and develop projects using Python and block-based coding practical, creative, and genuinely fun.

Support for Community

Brixton Wings Youth Centre provides creative spaces for local musicians, actors, and artists, hosts art displays and projects, offers weekly meals to families in need, and runs after-school and Saturday coding programs for youth.

Saturday School

Our Saturday School combines formal education and interactive learning in STEM subjects like Maths, Science, and General Knowledge, plus Geography, where students explore the world through maps, design, and hands-on activities.

Swimming

On Sundays, we run a swimming programme, also at the Recreation Centre, a more recent addition to our activities that has already proven popular.
