Brixton Wings Rowing Program

We provide a rowing program for young people in Lambeth, in collaboration with London Youth Rowing and Lambeth Sports. Our coaches foster a safe environment for this challenging sport, allowing participants to develop life skills. Through various activities, our rowers achieve personal growth, win medals at the London Youth Games, and join top clubs across the country.

At Brixton Wings, we participate in indoor rowing sessions at the Brixton Recreation Centre. Instructors help improve techniques and build strength, teaching rowing fundamentals while fostering discipline and resilience. Duvar, a dedicated team member, received the Individual Award for Achievement at Lambeth’s Sports Awards. After winning silver last year, he earned gold at the London Youth Games in indoor rowing. His journey, supported by Brixton Wings, showcases the power of determination and community.
