Brixton Wings Boat Club

Brixton Wings, in partnership with London Youth Rowing and Lambeth Sports, offers an exciting rowing program for young people in Lambeth. Our dedicated team of coaches and mentors create a safe and inclusive environment where participants can engage in a physically demanding sport while developing important life skills. Through a range of indoor and outdoor activities, our rowers experience personal growth. We have achieved medals at the London youth games indoor rowing and have seen athletes join top clubs in the country.

At Brixton Wings, we regularly attend indoor rowing sessions at the Brixton Recreation Centre. Our experienced instructors help participants improve their techniques and build strength. These sessions not only teach rowing fundamentals, but also develop discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic.

Duvar, a committed member of the Brixton Wings Indoor Rowing Team, was recently honored with the Individual Award for Achievement at Lambeth’s Sports Awards. After winning silver last year, he took home gold at this year’s London Youth Games in indoor rowing. His inspiring journey, along with Brixton Wings' support, highlights the power of determination and community.
